Higher and higher the walls build. The motherboard
was placed in and harnessed with Lego bricks to ensure proper
size and to to keep the hole in the back the proper size..

Once the computer case was completed, a frame
was built for the lcd screen. The screen is a 6" screen
from Parts Express,
a great place to pick up assorted electronic parts. Holes
were left in the back for the brightness and contrast during
the building phase, so they could easily be adjusted when
the computer was first started up. They would be later filled
in with more bricks.
To add lighting, led lights were used. Unfortunately,
the lights were only sold in 12" long tubs, so they
were cracked open and curved. Bending the lights too much
outside the tube will damage the lights.
In addition, a switch was sodered into the
screen's wiring when it was sodered to the molex connectors,
allowing the screen to both utilize the computer's power
supply and be turned off to avoid burn in when leaving the
computer on for long periods of time.

With the parts all in place, all that was
left was to add the screen (with wiring), organize the wires
with ties, and close the lid, which was made from black
plates. A fan grill was also added utilizing black plates
and 2 x 2 bricks.

Once completed, the computer was brought to
the local Lego store, where it was displayed.
