Another trip to the Lego store inspired a completely new and
different project. Instead of the clear
brick Lego computer, this one would utilizing the trans
blue Lego bricks. The trans blue 2 x 2 bricks would give
the computer a sturdiness that would allow the computer
to be built taller, but keep the transparency of the previous
computer.
The new design would also allow for the first
Chaotic Computer to incorporate a built-in screen.
The first step was to purchase two large cups
of Lego bricks from the store. In addition to the blue bricks,
trans red bricks were purchased to add a front design to
the computer.
A red chaos symbol, the symbol for Chaotic
Computing, was built to get the size for the front of
the computer.

When the sides were built to test out the
number of bricks needed, a third cup was purchased to fill
out the top of the walls and the front "mural"
and to build the back wall.

A piece of grey baseplate was used as the
base for the computer. Black plates were laid down to give
the computer additional support on the bottom, and the first
layer of bricks was put into place.
