Although the motherboard was used to measure the amount of space required, if the motherboard remained on the bottom, it would cause way too much heat to build up and could potentially burn out the cpu. Instead, the hard drive, dvd-rom/cd burner and cold cathode inverter will be situated in the bottom section, and the motherboard will sit on top.

     

When the ide and power cables were added, a fourth level of bricks was added to accomodate the extra space required to store the wiring. A brick was removed from one of the walls for the switch for the cold cathode tubes to be turned on and off independent of the computer switch. A layer of white plates was then laid over the level for the motherboard to sit on, with a slot left open to pull the wires through from below.
